Garden Homes Fire Department participates as a member of the Illinois Mutual Aid and Box Alarm System, Division 22, alongside the fire departments of Alsip, Blue Island, Calumet Park, Crestwood, Merrionette Park, Midlothian, Posen, and Robbins. In addition, they are a member of the Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts and the Illinois Fire Chiefs' Association.

Their members receive no monetary compensation for their services and proudly carry on the traditions of their founders as the last 100% volunteer fire department in the Chicagoland area.

These are just a few of the incredible heroes in our community that we have an opportunity to recognize and support and we would love to see the community show up and show out for them!
